Neilzilla Magnet

This one's a tribute to Hobart's very own kaiju - Neil The Seal. A 1,000kg elephant seal who turns up twice a year, picks fights with parked cars, flattens road barriers, and somehow ends up adored by over a million followers online for it. Neilzilla captures him at his chaotic best - gentle giant, absolute menace to street furniture.

If you see Neil, please do your part in keeping him safe and stay at least 20m away, 50m if you have a dog with you, and don't do anything to try and get his attention. Although he may look cute and lazy, he is a large wild animal and can cause significant damage. The last thing we want is for anything bad to happen to Neil because of human interference.
