Made from Tasmanian Oak
- Approx 770 x 400 x 40mm
- Built to last in 1 solid piece
This large Tasmanian Oak board carries a striking teardrop figure across its face with hundreds of small oval markings that shift and catch the light as you move around it. It's the kind of detail you notice more the longer you look.
A natural live edge runs down both long sides, with one natural fissure filled in black resin - a feature that follows the timber's own history rather than disguising it. Corners are gently rounded and the surface is finished smooth, ready to use straight away.
Equally at home as a grazing board for your next gathering, a chopping board in daily use, or simply propped up as a showpiece. Perfect for large cuts of meat when entertaining.
Every board I make is one of a kind, once this board sells it's gone. I have never seen such beautiful grain in Tasmanian Oak, and may never again.

Tasmanian Oak
-
ONE SOLID PIECE
Cut from a single piece of timber, with no joins or glue lines. Nothing to come apart, ever.
-
NATURALLY HYGENIC
Unlike plastic chopping boards, wood draws bacteria in and dries it out, killing it naturally.
-
BUILT TO LAST
Sand it back, re-oil it, and it'll outlast you. No cracking, no landfill.
-
ONE OF A KIND
With the natural grain of the timber and being hand made, your board is one of a kind.
